WHAT WE DO

Renewable Caribe is dedicated to revolutionizing the renewable energy market by channeling capital towards distributed generation and clean water projects. Our singular focus stems from the urgent need to combat the climate crisis, which stands as one of humanity's greatest challenges. By providing accessible and affordable clean energy and water solutions, we aim to meet the diverse energy requirements of businesses, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and local municipalities. Our mission is clear: to pave the way toward a net-zero energy future.

Renewable Caribe is at the forefront of deploying capital to early-stage renewables development, leading the market with strategic investments in emerging and underserved markets within the sector.  Our focus is on small and mid-size developers.

WHY SMALL AND MID-SIZE DEVELOPERS?

Small & Mid-Sized Developers (SMDs) play a pivotal role in constructing projects tailored for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which constitute the backbone of most economies. Leveraging their local expertise, relationships, and market knowledge, SMDs are uniquely positioned to unleash the full potential of their respective local markets.

Small-scale projects hold considerable promise for investors, offering opportunities to generate significant value. Moreover, SMDs have the capacity to engage the broader community, fostering a more robust ecosystem for renewable energy initiatives.

While SMDs have already achieved notable success, there remains untapped potential for further advancement and growth.

Small and Mid-Sized Renewable Energy Developers (SMDs) are primarily local entities specializing in the development of small-scale, distributed energy and community renewable projects. However, these projects often fall short of meeting the investment size criteria necessary to qualify for low-cost funding from institutional investors or lenders, which typically require investments upwards of $50 million.

This puts SMDs at a competitive disadvantage, as they face higher capital costs, thereby limiting their ability to fully realize their potential. Consequently, this hampers the growth potential of small and distributed renewable energy projects.

We firmly believe SMDs are indispensable to the world's successful

transition to a green, low-carbon, and sustainable economy.
In essence, SMDs are pivotal in driving the global shift towards a greener, more sustainable future.
